300' x 90' x 20’ (91.4 x 27.4 x 6.1 m) Flat Top Barge

This is a standard flat top barge and was built in 1977 at Boeles Scheepswerven, the Netherlands. It is equipped with 2 x gantry type cranes specially built for handling of oil and gas pipes from cargo vessels to shore and after having been coated with a concrete layer, transported back onto pipe carriers for offshore installation.  The crane system, supporting generators and relevant equipment are fully intact. It's Classification Society ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) but last annual not renewed.  The Barge is now in temporary lay-up. The previous owners classed the barge 12/2006 at Gothenburg and shifted a lot of steel as they expected the barge would be kept in operation for several years in connection with the pipe coating activity. ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) will reinstate class on next Special Survey.
