600 m3 Clamshell Loading Hopper Dredger
Built in 1965 and overhauled in 1996. Very versatile vessel is suited for dredging work, sand transport, heavy lift work, and maintenance work in harbors and rivers. The PLM model 50HD crane was new in 2003, and includes a mechanical clamshell grab and a special environmental grab. The vessel has been upgraded with the latest positioning and dredging computers, the latest diesel-electric propulsion, new generators, etc., and is fully certified for inland water use. The crane certifications are also valid and up to date. The barge is anchored with spuds.
