2,000 m3 Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger
Bottom Dumping TSHD
This 2000 m3 twin drag head hopper dredger was built in Japan in 1992. The dredger is equipped for both bottom dumping, or discharge by pumping either through pipeline or with a rainbowing system. Each drag head has it's own submerged dredge pump, providing pumping performance of up to 4,100 m3 per hour per drag head. The dredger is fitted with a 350 kW bow thruster.
Also equipped for oil collecting using a separate storage hold for the oil.
