This dredger was built by Walkers Ltd in Maryborough, Australia for the Port of Brisbane Corporation under the name 'Sir Thomas Hiley' in 1971. The dredger was brought to South Korea from Australia in 2001 and worked for 3 years. After the 3 years the dredger was anchored because they changed the method of dredging, and she has not worked since. The vessel will require dry-docking and repairs before she can be put in service again
