8 inch Swinging Ladder Dredge
This Dredge was Constructed throughout the Winter of 2007 – 2008 and was delivered March 15th 2008. The front workings of the dredge were serviced and repaired in owners shop due to wear signs. The machine has just been serviced by Caterpillar and is ready for transport and work. This DSC Moray Dredge is a single truckload, portable, floating platform that offers a combination or dredging features and modes of operation. The Dredge can operate as a conventional cutterhead dredge, which digs using remotely, placed anchors and spuds. It can also operate as a swinging ladder cutterhead dredge, which uses no anchors and works only on spuds.
The dredge cutter head and drive components were rebuilt in the spring of 2009.
