This powerful DMI Power Master twenty inch hydraulic cutter head dredger has power to spare in D-399 cat engine to utilize full capacity at the 20 inch pump. Working in some of Mexico´s most purshing construction jobs, this machine is capable of production higher than average rates on extremely long lines, or extreme maximum capabilities on shorter lines. Despite it's large size the dredge is fully dismountable and transportable by truck.

Dredging Ladder
  The ladder structure, featuring ASTM Grade A-36 welded structural steel, steel plate and tubular construction, is designed to withstand the various bending, torsional and stress loads imparted by the cutterhead and winch forces.
Hydraulic System
  The system utilizes three separate circuits, one for the cutter drive, one for the swing winches and one for the ladder winch and spud cylinders 
Electrical System
  A 24-volt DC system for starting the auxiliary diesel engine and for emergency lighting, and a ll0/220 volt AC system for internal and external lighting 
Service Water
  An end suction centrifugal pump, belt driven by the diesel engine, provides flushing water to clean the dredge pump packing. 
Main Hull Center Section
  The main hull section, of welded reinforced steel construction, measures 45' long, 12' wide and has a 6' molded depth. It houses the main machinery and can be transported intact. ASTM A-36 steel plate is used in it's construction. The bottom and sides are 1/4" plate. The stern (spud) end plate is 3/4" and the forward end plate is 1/2".  
Hull Side Sections
  There are four (4) rectangular hull side sections (pontoons) of welded reinforced steel construction, designed to provide appropriate stability, trim and freeboard with the dredge in a working condition. 
Spuds and Frames
  Two heavy wall tubular steel spuds with steel points, positioning tales and pins are provided, each complete with steel, self-centering, sliding side lift collars. 
Dredge Deck House
  The deck house is designed to provide appropriate shelter for the machinery and security when the dredge is unattended.  
Control Room and Controlmaster Console
  The control room is attractively designed, completely modularized and is removable, as a unit. 
Painting
  All metal surfaces are appropriately prepared before application of a zinc chromate primer. The hull exteriors, ladder, spuds, walkways, and decks are finished with black enamel or coal-tar epoxy. 
Portability
  Mobilization and demobilization of the DredgeMasters portable dredge can be accomplished in minimum time, with minimum personnel and equipment, and at a correspondingly minimal cost.
