This 10-inch Cutter Suction Dredge is an Ellicott Dragon Series 370-30 was built in 2009 and was completely refurbished in 2018. This dredger has been converted from a Dragon Series 370-20 with the ladder extended to 30-feet. The standard Ellicott 10/12 dredge pump has been replaced with a GIW (Georgia Iron Works) 10/12 pump which is more efficient, has a 10 - 12 % greater flow, is longer lasting making it less expensive and easier to rebuild, service and adjust the head space. All hydraulic fluid is biodegradable (Total Biohydran 46) and can be used in environmentally sensitive areas. A larger cab has been added with improved heating and air. Two 4' x 4' x 4' pontoons have been added to each side of the bow to duplicate the Ellicott factory pontoon. These pontoons must be removed for transport.

In March 2023, heavy rain and flooding caused the deck to go awash. No water entered the engine and hydraulic system, however. The cabin was damaged by wind blown debris, but the damage is being repaired. The dredger is currently operating normally, however ongoing maintenance and repairs includes glass and cab interior being replaced with new, replace A/C and inverter, engine oil and coolant change, hydraulic fluid and filter, new batteries.
