| ABOUT REMANUFACTURED TOYO PUMPS |
Toyo Pump Concept:
The TOYO DP range of submersible pumps with agitator has been specially designed to handle heavy and abrasive slurries.
These centrifugal pumps with an enclosed impeller, features a unique agitator design. This agitator lifts sediments into suspension, creating a slurry mixture. This enables the continuous pumping of media with a high concentration of solids.
The Robust construction, careful selection of materials and uniquely contoured components, coupled with a low speed high torque motor, has produced a pump with excellent abrasion resistance as well as a sufficient weight and an important torque. These characteristics ensure a long service life and economical operation.
The impeller, the wear plates and the agitator are manufactured in cast chrome iron (24 to 28 % Cr).
A strong short shaft, supported by a series of carefully selected bearings and a system of seals offers a double level of protection functioning in an oil bath, to ensure tightness in the harshest of conditions.
The DP-7.5 - 500HP Toyo pumps are equipped with a series of lip seals as standard. They can be equipped with a double mechanical seal as an option.
Servicing and maintaining the pumps to keep them in good working order is easy. On the DP pumps you have two wear plates, one of which is adjustable allowing simple adjustments to maintain long lasting high performance.
The electric class F motor is cooled by the liquid in which the pump is submerged.
The DP-7.5 - 500HP submersible pumps are available in different metallurgies, with thermal protection and moisture detector and there are special versions for high temperatures or depths.
Operating conditions:
The DP-7.5 - 500HP pumps can handle slurries with a solids content of up to 60 % by weight, particle sizes up to 5 inches and liquid temperatures up to 60°C with pH levels between 4 and 9.5.
Special versions are available for liquid temperatures up to 176°C. Maximal standard operating depth is 98 feet and 393 Feet in specially manufactured versions.

| TOYO REMANUFACTURED PUMPS - HEAVY DUTY DREDGING |
A Sand pump is a pump that pumps up precipitated solids such as sand and gravel together with water.
In the case of the Toyo Submersible (underwater pump) agitator sand pump, its original design is rebuilt to (as new) speifications that gives the same high service factor as a new TOYO. Moreover, the agitation vane (cutter fan) installed at the bottommost of pump can agitate precipitated substances continuously at high concentration.In addition to the above performance, this pump is designed by calculating sufficient capacity and durability for pumping up sludge such as sand, gravel and mud. Users, therefore, can rest assured when using our remanufactured submersible pump at the job site where application conditions are less than favorable.
Cutter fan - Agitator.
The Toyo Submersible Agitator Sand Pump is, at the bottommost part of pump, equipped with agitation vane (cutter fan) for the purpose of agitation and prevention of clogging at the strainer. It is, therefore, possible to agitate precipitated substances in the water such as sand, scale, sludge and black sludge and pump those substances up continuously at high concentration.
Stiff Resistance to Wear.
Special cast iron is used for main parts such as impeller, agitation vane (cutter fan) and liner so as to give sufficient wall thickness to each part. Moreover, the use of low speed rotation motor can exhibit sufficient resistance to wear against sand, gravel, mud, etc.
Shaft seal unit with outstanding durability.
Shaft sealing unit adopts the combined use of an oil seal, rare flow seal and shaft sleeve on which an ultra-hard powder alloy is melded or the pump can be ordered with a SIC double mechanical seal for outstanding durability. The shaft seal unit, therefore, can exhibit outstanding durability. Deep water shaft seals are also available.
