18-inch DSC "Shark" model 10300 Cutter Suction Dredge (CSD)
Manufactured by Dredging Supply Company, Inc, in 2012, this 18-inch Cutter Suction dredger had very little use when purchased by the current owners, and since then it has only worked on one job. Owners have been conscientious about maintenance, and have also reinforced some parts that they though could benefit from extra strength. The dredge comes with about 450 m or discharge pipeline, a backup cutter, and a Dredge Pack system for monitoring position and progress. The pipeline has abut 80% life left.
